The Return of The Prodigal Son
This exhibition took place in the beautiful Georgian, grade-one listed Cosin's Hall, which is home to the Institute of Advanced Study, and adjacent to Durham Cathedral.
Approximately 15-20 works were be shown, including 'Return of the Prodigal Son' (pictured). The exhibition was designed as an introduction to the range of Chris Gollon's work, including large figurative paintings, still life, heads and silk-screen prints, and was the start of a long-term association with the IAS.
