Chris Gollon completed this, the tenth Station of the Cross painting in August 2007. We are delighted to say that funding for the remaining Stations of the Cross X-XIV has been generously given by Gollon collectors, and congregation members.

Chris Gollon has worked tirelessly against the clock to finish the last Station, so that all 14 could be unveiled and used in the 10am service on Good Friday 2008 at St John on Bethnal Green.

The Stations of the Cross will be installed by Good Friday 2009, in the beautiful Church of St John on Bethnal Green, a grade-one listed church designed by Sir John Soane. The Good Friday service is at 10am on 10th April 2009. For more information please visit the Commissions page.

Award-winning novelist Sara Maitland is now writing a book of meditations inspired by Chris Gollon's Stations of the Cross. Sara Maitland is a supporter of Chris Gollon's work, in particular his Stations of the Cross for St John on Bethnal Green. Her publisher, Continuum Books, (New York & London) will publish a book of her meditations on Gollon's Stations in early 2008, in which all 14 Stations will be reproduced.
