£10,000 framed. It was Prof Adi Ophir writing in the Being Human catalogue who thought Chris could paint souls, gods and angels, but Chris Gollon thinks if indeed he can and Prof Ophir is right, then it may well be subconsciously. Therefore, in this work, Gollon leaves it up to the viewer to decide which is a soul or an angel or a god.
Gollon has also put in there a reference to one of his favourite books ''The Golden Ass' by Apuleius, where a Roman man gets turned into an ass but after many a tale and an encounter is saved by Isis.
