This painting was part of the series of works and exhibition entitled 'is That All there Is?, partially inspired by the song of the same title made famous by Peggy Lee. Continuing his fascination with the absurdity of existence, Chris Gollon has experimented with giving expression and personality to featureless faces, taking it to an extreme here.
