Framed price £8,000. SOLD. This painting is the first version of 'Gollon At Henley', and helped Chris Gollon finalize the composition of the final work 'Gollon At Henley', which was commissioned by the River & Rowing Museum, Henley on Thames, and kindly sponsored by Beefeater and The American Friends of Rowing.
This work forms part of the exhibition 'Gollon At Henley', at the RRM (see Exhibitions page) along with photographs and studies for the final work. It is a fully worked up painting, not a sketch or a study, but a first version of the major work acquired by the Museum. It is available for sale from IAP Fine Art, and until July 6th is on exhibition at the River & Rowing Museum in Chris Gollon's solo show 'Gollon At Henley'.
