This painting was part of the first 'Early Thoughts' exhibition and was acquired by the Institute of Advanced study during Chris Gollon's Fellowship at the Durham University.
Chris Gollon's image is perhaps Darwinian, since this human-like figure drags itself out of the ocean as if for a first time.
