As with Gollon's still life, this painting also seems to hint at human relations. Gollon's artistic license with the depiction fo guitars strangely gives them even more volume, and the blues in the shadows underneath makes the instrument's bodies even richer and warmer. They appear as two amigos playing in a stage, the music almost discernable, and the Gollonesque dice each side balance the composition perfectly.
