OWN ART: Chris Gollon

Gallery open Thurs & Fri 2.30 - 6.30pm, Sat 11- 2pm or by appt. This exhibition celebrates IAP Fine Art's new membership of the Arts Council of England's excellent OWN ART scheme which allows UK residents to spend from £100 to £2,000 to purchase a painting or print, and then pay over 10 months on interest-free credit. You can also use OWN ART to part pay for a work above £2,000. Chris Gollon's work and an interview with him was recently shown on Alan Yentob's BBC1 programme 'Imagine', which focused on the Own Art scheme and its benefit to new and also established art collectors.

Philosophy

Prices range from £750 through to £10,000. The exhibition shows a range of Chris Gollon's recent paintings, some of which will be featured in the forthcoming book 'CHRIS GOLLON: Humanity in Art' by Tamsin Pickeral (Hyde & Hughes), which will be published in May 2010. See Latest News.

'COMMISSION'

Location: Wallspace Gallery, 83 London Wall, London EC2M 5ND

COMMISSION will be a survey exhibition of permanent works of art commissioned for churches and other religious spaces in the past twenty-five years. Artists included will be Henry Moore, Anthony Gormley, Tracey Emin, Chris Gollon, Alison Watt and Damien Hirst. The exhibition will be accompanied by a full-colour catalogue, film showings and a conference.
