Eleanor McEvoy is touring her latest album in the UK in 2023, the title track of which was inspired by a Chris Gollon painting and is dedicated to him. Chris and Eleanor enjoyed a period of two years of artistic boundary crossing 2015 – 2017, when songs would inspire paintings, paintings prompting songs, as the two artists literally spoke to each other through their work.
IAP Fine Art has an online exhibition ‘Chris Gollon: Gimme Some Wine’ with full colour catalogue to accompany Eleanor’s album, showing all 17 paintings Chris Gollon painted in response to the song she wrote for him.
