Louder Than Words Festival

In first week of October IAP Fine Art  will be publishing a new fine art exhibition catalogue, to coincide with three exciting events in autumn 2021. The first is ‘Gimme Some Wine’ paintings by Chris Gollon, an exhibition opening in mid-October, which features the last series of paintings on a theme that Chris Gollon painted, before his untimely death in 2017.

 

All are titled and partially-inspired by the song Eleanor McEvoy wrote for and dedicated to him. Second, is the launch on October 15th of Eleanor McEvoy’s lastest album, entitled ‘Gimme Some Wine’, which features Gollon’s painting Gimme Some Wine (Final Version) on the cover. Third, is ‘Gimme Some Wine, Eleanor McEvoy & David Tregunna’ at the Louder Than Words Festival  Manchester on 13th November. The festival includes an acoustic set from Eleanor McEvoy, the screening of ‘Gimme Some Wine: The Story of a Song’ (the award-winning short film exploring her work with Chris Gollon); a celebration of Eleanor’s new album, our new publication exhibition; and an ‘in conversation’ with TV presenter Roisin Dwyer.
